30 Day Proverbs Challenge: Day 11

Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. Wisdom is listening and the application of discernment. Many times we are so obsessed with consumption that we for get to slow down, listen, and discern. The Lord, Jesus Christ calls us to meditate on his Word so that we have the wisdom and discernment to have dominion over this earth. Are you meditating with God? Are you studying and memorizing the Word of God? Are you listening to God and following his truth? Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

I am a fighter and clearly to a fault because the battle is not mine but the Lords. People have consistently spoken being a lawyer over my life because I love a nice educational debate. I am a deep thinker that has turned into overthinking because I have dealt with manipulation and marine spirits in my life. These experiences become a root that had been growing in my life due to my stability being removed and body being taken advantage of. My boundaries were violated as a victim of rape and abuse it led to me putting a higher wall around my heart and running to bad habits and pain to numb myself.

As you gain wisdom and walk in maturity you start to interpret things differently in your life. I was always a passionate person but my passion was misdirected most of my life. Proverbs 19: 2 "Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes. I lacked the ability to discern because I hadn't dealt with the roots that had grown weeds from negative experiences in my life. The devil started planting shame, doubt and lack of trust through those experiences in my life. My passion for learning has not changed but it was directed towards false doctrine and false belief systems because my roots were not planted in the Lord, Jesus Christ (Yeshua). In Proverbs 19:20-21 God answered why I have been running in the same place, "Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life. You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail." God had to humble me!

Life is not what happens to you but how is life happening for you. I was walking in ignorance and confusion because I was moving in my own understanding. In Proverbs 19: 16 "Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death," lets just say I have had my encounters with death. So today I share my testimony so that you stay rooted in truth and not let the world of consumption and technology distract you from what is real. It is very clear in John 14:16 "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me," you will open doors to the devil legally until you understand this truth.
