Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. Wisdom has to be learned through common sense and experience. Most of us take experience to learn the lessons required to succeed. There is no easy way! Life will humble you and I have seen what the top looks like and I have been at the bottom. I appreciate it all! Remember the Israelites did not make it to the promise land because of complaining and murmuring. So today lets focus on integrity and building character because we all need discipline. The world will deceive you with instant gratification and most people fall away from the Lord and sell their soul easily nowadays. Remember 22:1-2 "Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold. The rich and poor have this in common: The Lord made them both." Now we have to repent for all our bad decisions and faults and lack of character development.

I have lacked wisdom and understanding plain and simple. However, I refuse to give up and quit or lose the value I am meant to bring to this earth. I was definitely rebellious by nature especially when you feel that you've accomplished everything right (spirit of perfectionism) and yet you are struggling, unhappy and broke. I was this person in Proverbs 22: 3 "A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences." I was the naive one that had to learn lessons the hard way. God knew this and he also knew my gift and ability to be a optimist. I love this quote " Never a failure, always a lesson" but I was missing this portion in my life "True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life," and now I understand.

So today I am simply going to let Gods word provide the lesson for today which is: Sayings of the Wise (Proverbs 22:22-29)

22 Don’t rob the poor just because you can,
or exploit the needy in court.
23 For the Lord is their defender.
He will ruin anyone who ruins them.

24 Don’t befriend angry people
or associate with hot-tempered people,
25 or you will learn to be like them
and endanger your soul.

26 Don’t agree to guarantee another person’s debt
or put up security for someone else.
27 If you can’t pay it,
even your bed will be snatched from under you.

28 Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers
set up by previous generations.

29 Do you see any truly competent workers?
They will serve kings
rather than working for ordinary people.
