30 Day Proverbs Challenge: Day 16

Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. Today I am realizing that you can't do life alone. I have always been proud to say that I am a "lone wolf" and I like being a part of a wolf pack because of the fierce loyalty. The importance of community and family has become more important to me now than ever. What communities are you a part of? Are they healthy? Do they promote Gods Word and character?

Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. Today I am realizing that you can't do life alone. I have always been proud to say that I am a "lone wolf" and I like being a part of a wolf pack because of the fierce loyalty. The importance of community and family has become more important to me now than ever. What communities are you a part of? Are they healthy? Do they promote Gods Word and character? Solomon says plainly in Proverbs 24:1-2 "Don’t envy evil people or desire their company. 2 For their hearts plot violence, and their words always stir up trouble." Remember this!

I am not blaming my community for my bad decisions and falling from my walk with the Lord. I am repenting for letting my brokenness and addiction lead to opening doors that led me away from my God given destiny. I appreciate my mistakes because it has brought me closer to God. Through my brokenness and suffering the Lord has always shown me grace and extended his covering over my life. The prayers of my ancestors definitely kept my spirit covered and I thank them today. Proverbs 24: 19-20 "Don’t fret because of evildoers; don’t envy the wicked. 20 For evil people have no future; the light of the wicked will be snuffed out," being a part of culture is dangerous. You think your living life and doing what everyone else is doing after college and in the midst of finding their careers and place in the world.

We are oblivious to the fact that the devil is a legalist "The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life." (John 10:10) I am speaking from my own illusion and lack of understanding the Word of God. I spent years never opening my Bible and it led to my own ignorance and pain so my advice to you if you are reading is to get involved with a bible study to find healthy communities and learn the Word of God. In Proverbs 24:14 In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul, if you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short. Due to my lack of access to wisdom in the culture consuming consumption that tailors to your appetite there was not much Christian options of fun around me.

This is a common illusion that the devil has access to when you give him legal access through your choices and your bloodline. When you learn about your bloodline and the things that you were born into and have to overcome on top of your own obstacles it can be exhausting and depressing. Let me encourage you today because you are a generational curse breaker meant to instill new principles in your home and build a new bloodline of victory with the Lord Jesus Christ. For someone whose main goal in life is to create generational wealth and heal others I was missing a huge component in achieving this successfully in my life. In order to succeed, do Proverbs 24:3-4 "A house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense. 4 Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables." Now that I understand my mistakes and know better I am required to do better. My goal is to give you accurate and trustworthy advice. The only way you can do that is to lead people to God's Word! Moving forward understand your purpose in God and that you have a heavenly destiny to fulfill that is so worth it. Be mindful of who you surround yourself with because it does effect your destiny.
