30 Day Proverbs Challenge: Day 30
Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. As I began this journey of the Proverbs Challenge I was seeking wisdom and understanding. I decided to determine my new foundation in Christ and as I end this challenge in Proverbs 9. I ended with Proverbs 9:1 "Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars." I decided to hear what the Lord says are the seven pillars of wisdom and not create my own seven pillars out of self- reliance. Thank you Lord for guiding me and providing for me every step of the way. I encourage you to trust in the Lord with all of your heart, mind and soul because he will guide you in spirit and truth. What are the seven pillars of truth? How can we live our lives with the Holy Spirit.

Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. As I began this journey of the Proverbs Challenge I was seeking wisdom and understanding. I decided to build my new foundation in Christ and as I end this challenge in Proverbs 9. I ended with Proverbs 9:1 "Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars." I decided to hear what the Lord says about the seven pillars of wisdom and not create my own seven pillars out of self- reliance. Thank you Lord for guiding me and providing for me every step of the way. I encourage you to trust in the Lord with all of your heart, mind and soul because he will guide you in spirit and in truth. What are the seven pillars of wisdom? How can we live our lives with the Holy Spirit?
First, let me explain what God has revealed to me about how we should understand what it means to be an ambassador of Christ. As an ambassador of Christ, I commit to the Lord Jesus Christ and I join the spiritual bloodline as a son/ daughter in Christ. Second, I believe we must be baptized by the water in order to receive spirit and truth. The only way to God i through Jesus Christ and the only way to have a relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ (Yeshua) is to accept and receive the Holy Spirit. We see that everything begins with Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." So now that we understand the order and job description of an ambassador of Christ we are called to walk in spirit and truth.
It is important to walk in your influence and not be influenced. Honestly, this has been a struggle in my life. I've always known that I was meant to be the light in the darkness but sometimes you are influenced by darkness. You fall into sin and fall into the worlds ways and the years of indoctrination. You must embrace the process of a relationship, similar to a marriage. It is a daily choice to love Jesus Christ with all of your heart and strength. I have had to take accountability for defiling my temple and being a hypocrite in my walk with the Lord. I do not want to be the woman who built her house in wickedness and folly leading to an environment of "spiritually dead" people. In Proverbs 9:18 "But little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are deep in the realm of the dead." Once you understand your identity in Christ and your have built your new foundation in spirit and truth you will understand that we are called to build our house on wisdom.
Now that I am in the process of surrender and learning that wisdom comes from God's word. Lets return to the seven pillars mentioned in Proverbs chapter 9:1 and discuss what these seven pillars are. The reference verses are Isaiah 11:2 and Revelation 1:4 which explains how important it is for us to walk in the spirit not the flesh. John is greeting the seven churches and mentions the seven spirits in the following verse: "To the seven churches in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne," so we have spirits that we must understand as the body of Christ. The concordance leads you to Isaiah 11:2 where we determine what the seven spirits are in detail which says "The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord."
The Spirit of Wisdom
The Spirit of Understanding
The Spirit of Counsel
The Spirit of Might
The Spirit of Knowledge
The Spirit of Lord__ Holy Spirit
The fear of the Lord
We must build our house in the spirit, not the flesh. Once we learn the importance of these seven pillars, we understand that we are called to a higher standard and sanctification as a son/ daughter of God. I had to really grasp that as an ambassador of Christ we are instructed to have wisdom and understanding in the spirit not confused and distracted by the demonic and worldly systems. A more practical list of wisdom can be found in James 3:17 "But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere." Our goal is to bear the fruits of the spirit and understand that we are in spiritual warfare daily. We are called to be wise in prayer and to display the traits that heaven has called us to display. The wisdom of heaven instructs us to do the following:
Sincere
Peace-Loving
Considerate
Submissive
Full of Mercy
Good Fruit
Impartial

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
