30 Day Proverbs Challenge: Day 7

Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. This blog will help you understand why God bings us to suffer. I had to learn the difference between wrong suffering vs long suffering and I cannot wait to tell you the truth. Suffering is inevitable lets just look at the life of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He suffered more than all of us and he did it for us out of love. How do you react to pain in your life? How do you interpret pain? What has God revealed yo you in your pain?

When Jesus Christ (Yeshua) was in the garden of Gethsemane, he suffered to the point of sweating blood. The amount of pain, fear and anxiety he was at reminds us all of his humanity. Most of the time, I have found that we connect to people through our lessons and through our pain. Look at your partners or relationships... you may both come from broken homes, you both may be adopted or just the black sheep of your families. God wants us to know that pain and suffering is okay because most of us would not come to him if we were able to figure it out on our own. I was under the impression that I checked off all the boxes that guaranteed success.

However, financial hardship, abusive relationships and addiction seemed to follow me. I had no clue why or what I had done wrong. Until God showed me his own mercy and love through saving my life and forgiving me for living disconnected to my Heavenly Father for at least ten years of my life. I was doing things in my own fruition and seeking my own spiritual awakening. In Proverbs 15:14 "A wise person is hungry for knowledge, while the fool feeds on trash " and I decided to to study Kemetic teachings, the Baghavad Gita and other metaphysical works and lost books of the Bible. Not once did I pick up the Holy Bible and read Gods Word. I chose to study the ways of the world, deception and wickedness so that I could seek my own spiritual awakening. My advice to you reading this is to pick up the Holy Bible, Gods word and begin to read.

The Word of God is living. The truth is when you make the decision to believe in your salvation then you will gain all that comes with his living word. In I Peter 1:23 "For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God." I advise you to read the Bible for yourself and let him reveal to you the advice and calling he has for you. God's provision is key to living a fulfilling, sanctified and sustainable life. Learn from someone who tried many times and observed people lose it all because they fell away form God's principle. Today I find peace and I rest in him because I am able to learn from my pain.

I used to idolize pain and many of us choose self sabotage because the world is so enslaved mentally and spiritually. We assume we are doing what it takes to survive but that is not the life God has created for us. He tells us clearly in Proverbs 15:32-33 " if you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding. Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor." I now can respect the teachings of my Heavenly Father and hear the wisdom that he has always shared with me. I had to humble myself through long suffering and decide to say "NO!" to wrong suffering. I advise you to chose wisdom and understanding over physical temporary things the world chases. Your eternal life and the generations you create is where the value and true inheritance lies.
