A PILLAR

Welcome to Pray! you whore, a blog, that takes you on my personal journey of repentance, reconciliation, and redemption. This is. a reminder to walk in your purpose and not run away. God does not allow things to happen "to" you but "for" you. We need to understand that many of our bad decisions are not God, but us. We must learn to exalt him through our testimony because the Lord Jesus Christ is our Savior. All of us needed to be saved from flesh and our sin but our nakedness empowers others and God at all times. So be bold and walk in radical faith because you are a pillar built to not collapse. The Holy Spirit is leading me even though I am a work in progress still needing the Lord daily. My goal is to remind you that you can still be used and God is using you to fulfill his purpose no matter what you have been through.

God has me in a season of humility and confidence in the Lord. Many of us have to understand that even when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden God was still waiting on them to confess and continue walking with him. However, the shame and guilt is what blocked them from receiving all the blessings and unconditional love God had for them. Many times we listen to the lies the devil tells us versus the truth that God tells us. This has been a healthy reminder that I am not a victim but a victor over my circumstance and situation. God is reminding me that my bad decisions may have taken me out og alignment but he is still there waiting to put me back in alignment. That is the truth for all of us who may have fallen short or failed in some shape, form or fashion. The beauty of being a child of God is that he still loves us unconditionally and has provided us a winning strategy to succeed in life.

Similar to building with pillars, a load bearing architectural strategy, that helps provide vertical support and distribute the weight equally on to the foundation. Pillars help you build multi level buildings with structural integrity. God allows us to bear the weight and go through burdens to bring us closer to him. Sometimes we have to be put the pieces back together to create a stronger pillar. We alos must admit that we are responsible for the breaking of pieces and not God. God gives us free will and we have to decide to become the pillar because that is where honor and character is found. The pillar can endure the promise and purpose God has for us. Many times we have to endure the shaking and breaking to ensure that we have the God confidence to carry out his vision in our lives.

I may get frustrated wit the process but I also had to learn that my way is not better than the Lords way. The impatience and brokenness that I brought to my life was not God but me choosing to hide in the fig leaves, like Adam and Eve. I am unafraid to admit that my I have failed to birth fruit in certain seasons of my life. Instead of running away in shame I stand with authority as a woman of God who is meant to be set apart. The lesson I had to learn was that God loves us in our nakedness and in our brokenness.

Remember that God led his people with a "pillar" "12 By day you led them with a pillar of cloud, and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light on the way they were to take," in Nehemiah 9:12. This is a reminder that God is building me for leadership. My life has taught me that this was always my position but I failed to grow into the promise and purpose. I have had to surrender my pride and rebuild my foundation. My foundation is now built in wisdom and understanding leading me to the gift of discerning spirits. My pillar is built in my relationship with the Lord and the truth of God's word. The truth is we have to embrace who our Creator has called us to be and the calling that causes our consecration.

We are called to lead! If you are reading this I want to remind you of James 1:2-4 which says "2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." Now I understand that God was shaping me into a pillar to lead the nations and generational bloodline back to truth. God was giving me the wisdom to withstand the shaking and endure to build my steadfastness in him. I want to encourage you to walk in the calling and tribulations that God has called you to. Change your perspective and learn to carry the burdens with the Lord, God-like character and compassion.
